ROBOR for one maturity

The quotation of one maturity on the requested day — ?data= is required. Days with no publication have valoare empty, and the last preceding quote comes back in ultima.

How it behaves

  • ?data= is required, and the response always has the same shape: data (the day you asked for), valoare (filled ONLY if we have that exact day) and ultima (the last day published on or before it, with its value). valoare stays empty DELIBERATELY when the requested day has no publication — a figure from another day sits separately, under ultima, so it cannot be used by mistake in a calculation. Missing data is no longer an error: the response is 200, and comparing data with ultima.data tells you everything.
  • The quote of a single maturity, on the requested day (?data=YYYY-MM-DD, required).
  • Days without publication have valoare empty, and the last preceding quote comes back in ultima. No age ceiling: on a discontinued maturity, ultima.data shows exactly where the series ended.
  • A misspelled maturity (5M) returns 422 with the list of valid ones, not an empty 404.
  • A discontinued maturity is no longer an error but a fact about the series: for 9M (stopped in November 2019) ultima shows where it ended and meta.oprita says why it no longer grows. With a data from the period it was published, 9M returns the real quote in valoare. A code that does not exist (5M) stays 422, with the valid ones listed.

  • Checking the rate used in a statement or a repayment schedule.

  • Reconstructing the rate used at a past due date.
  • Checking the interest a bank applied on a given date.

All errors share the same shape. eroare.cod is stable and is the value you should branch on in code — not the text in mesaj, which may change.
