Production of the main industrial products

How much was produced of each benchmark industrial product — 5,760 values, annually from 1993 to 2024, 254 products in their own units, from the matrices IND106A and IND106C.

⚠️ The unit of measure is part of the series' identity, not a label stuck on top. 241 products have a single unit, but 13 are published in two at once — seagoing vessels in pieces AND deadweight tonnes, polyvinyl chloride in tonnes AND tonnes of 100% active substance, household ceramics in lei AND thousand pieces, all over the same years. They are parallel measures of the same product: they are not additive with one another and neither continues the other.

⚠️ Not everything called „physical output" is physical: of the 32 units only two are monetary, but 17 products (tools, furniture, clothing, cosmetics) are measured in lei, because a physical quantity would make no sense across assortments. valoric marks them and can be filtered on.

⚠️ The denomination is declared by the unit itself — „Thousand lei" up to 2004, „RON lei" from 2005 — so the rule is on the source's label, not on the year. Older values are brought to RON (× 0.1) so that the series does not break; verified on furniture: 3.25 billion lei in 2004 and 3.51 in 2005, where without conversion it would have shown a 90% collapse. The raw figure stays in publicat.

⚠️ The two matrices cover adjacent periods, with no overlap, and slightly different code lists (252 against 221 products, 219 in common). A product missing from one era has null there.

How it behaves

  • How much was produced of each benchmark industrial product — 5,760 values, annual from 1993 to 2024, 254 products in 32 units of measure, from TEMPO matrices IND106A and IND106C.
  • ⚠️ The unit of measure is part of the series identity, not a label stuck on top of the figure. 241 products have a single unit, but 13 are published in two at once — seagoing ships in pieces AND in DW tonnes, polyvinyl chloride in tonnes AND in tonnes of 100% active substance, household ceramics in lei AND in thousands of pieces, all over the same years. They are parallel measures of the same product: they do not add up and neither continues the other. For a few (alkyd resins, macromolecular products) the source migrates over time from the "100% active substance" basis to tonnes, with overlapping years — not a series break there either.
  • ⚠️ Not everything in "physical production" is physical. Of the 32 units only two are monetary, yet 17 products — tools, furniture, textile garments, cosmetics, computing equipment — are measured in lei, because a physical quantity would be meaningless across such different assortments. The valoric field marks them and can be filtered on.
  • ⚠️ The denomination is declared by the unit itself — "Mii lei" through 2004, "Lei RON" from 2005 — so the rule follows the source label, not the year. Old values are brought to RON (× 0.1) so the series does not break. Checked on furniture: 3.25 billion lei in 2004 and 3.51 in 2005; without conversion it would have shown a 90% collapse where there is in fact 8% growth. The raw figure stays in publicat.

data.serii[].publicat Present only for pre-2005 years on monetary products: the raw figure in thousands of old lei and the factor applied.
meta.fara_date data is null and this says why. The projection over INS data is empty. The nomenclature is at /financiar/v1/industrie/productie-fizica/nomenclator. Usually the requested unit is not the one the product is published in. As for the other series.
meta.fara_date_cod The short, STABLE word for the reason, for clients that branch on it in code: fara_date is prose and may be rephrased, this is not.
