The regional household account

Where household income comes from and how much is left, region by region, annually since 2000: primary income received, taxes and contributions paid, social benefits received, and the two balancing items — the balance of primary income and net disposable income.

A different logic from the rest of the regional accounts: it has no branches at all, it has account sides and balancing items that check against one another.

How it behaves

  • The regional account of households — 4,368 values, annually from 2000 to 2023, from TEMPO matrix CON120A. Nine operations × resources and uses × 14 territories, in millions of lei.
  • A different logic from the rest of the regional accounts: it has no branches at all. It has account sides and two balancing items that verify one from the other — the balance of primary income and net disposable income.
  • ✅ sold_venituri_primare = net surplus + compensation received + property income received − property income paid: 336 of 336.
  • ✅ venit_disponibil_net = the primary balance + social benefits + transfers received − current taxes − social contributions − transfers paid: 336 of 336.
  • What the figures show for 2023 nationally: out of 932,862.1 million lei of primary income balance — of which compensation of employees 638,943 and net surplus 268,302 — 220,086 in social contributions and 43,332.2 in current taxes are deducted, 190,973.6 in social benefits are added, and net disposable income of 878,853.1 million lei remains.
  • ⚠️ The balancing items are published on the uses side, as accounting convention requires — a balance closes the side it sits on. The este_sold field marks them so they are not read as spending.
  • ⚠️ The household account is not published by county, only for the country, macroregions, regions and extra_regiuni. For employment and wages at county level: /financiar/v1/conturi-regionale.

data.serii[].este_sold Marks the two balancing items, published on the uses side.
meta.fara_date string data is null and this says why. The projection over the INS data is empty. The account is not published by county. As on the other series.
meta.fara_date_cod string The short, STABLE word for the reason, for clients that branch on it in code: fara_date is prose and may be rephrased, this is not.
