Business v1 / Statistici ONRC
ONRC indicator catalogue
Which series exist, along which dimensions, over which range — and, crucially, what kind of quantity each one is: flux_cumulat (cumulative from 1 January), flux_lunar or stoc.

How it behaves
- The starting point for the rest of the
/statistici/onrc/*family: which indicators exist, which breakdowns they are published on, and over what interval — coverage is read from the data, not declared. - ⚠️ The
naturafield decides how a figure must be read. The five flow indicators (incorporations, removals, suspensions, dissolutions, insolvencies) are published by ONRC cumulatively from 1 January: the June value is the January-June total, not June alone. Summing twelve months would give a number several times larger than reality. - These are official aggregates, exactly as ONRC published them at the time. They are not recomputed from our register: the March 2019 figure stays the March 2019 bulletin figure, even though the companies have changed since. That is why answers here may differ from
/statistici/firme, which counts the register as it stands today.
What it is for
- Finding out which monthly series exist, before building a chart.
- Checking the covered interval, so you do not request years without data.
- Populating an indicator picker in a dashboard.
Response structure
All fields below live inside data.
FieldTypeDescription
indicatori[].cod
string
The indicator code, to be used in
?indicator=.
indicatori[].denumire
string
The indicator name, as ONRC publishes it.
indicatori[].natura
string
What kind of quantity this is:
flux_cumulat (cumulative from 1 January, reset each January), flux_lunar (the month own value) or stoc (the situation at the bulletin date). Reading a series without knowing this yields plausible, wrong numbers.
indicatori[].unitate
string
The unit: companies, thousand RON, thousand EUR, USD and so on.
indicatori[].dimensiuni[]
string
The breakdowns the source publishes for this indicator:
judet (county), caen (activity), forma (legal form), tara (country).
indicatori[].sursa
string
The ONRC bulletin the series comes from.
indicatori[].acoperire[].dimensiune
string
The breakdown this coverage row refers to.
indicatori[].acoperire[].chei
integer
How many distinct values the breakdown has (42 counties, ~50 activities, ~58 countries).
indicatori[].acoperire[].prima_luna
string
The first month covered, as
YYYY-MM.
indicatori[].acoperire[].ultima_luna
string
The last month covered, as
YYYY-MM.
indicatori[].acoperire[].valori
integer
How many measured values exist for this combination.
dimensiuni[]
string
Every breakdown in the module, as the vocabulary for
?dimensiune=.

Error codes
| Code | Slug | When it occurs |
|---|---|---|
| 401 | neautentificat | Token missing, invalid, expired or revoked. |
| 403 | feature_indisponibil | The current plan does not include the feature the route depends on. |
| 422 | validare | The route takes no parameters apart from lang: any other parameter returns 422 instead of being ignored. |
| 429 | cota_depasita | The plan's monthly quota has been exceeded (see Retry-After). |
All errors share the same shape. eroare.cod is stable and is the value you should branch on in code — not the text in mesaj, which may change.
