Jurisdictions

The company's territorial jurisdiction, derived from its registered office: the district court and prosecutor's office it falls under, plus the hierarchy above them. The assignment comes from a piece of legislation and is established per administrative unit — see also GET /api/locations/v1/uat/{cod}/jurisdictii, where the data lives.

Query parameters

This route accepts no query parameters.

How it behaves

  • Derived from the REGISTERED OFFICE: tax ID → office locality → territorial jurisdiction. The data and the logic live in the Locations module (the assignment is per UAT, keyed on SIRUTA); this route only does the company → locality step.
  • If the registered office could not be linked to the locality nomenclature, the answer is 422 sediu_nelegat, NOT an approximated court. Where someone decides where to file a claim, a wrong answer is worse than an explicit "we do not know".
  • The assignment comes from Government Decision 1217/2023, issued under art. 42(2) of Law 304/2022. Every entry carries nivel (how finely the competence is set) and temei (the act), so you can cite the source.

What it is for

  • Find out which court to sue a company in, starting straight from its tax ID.
  • Route a case automatically to the court competent for the debtor’s registered office.
  • Check which prosecutor’s office covers the company before filing a complaint.

sediu.localitate.cod_siruta integer The locality the resolution started from.
sediu.localitate.nume string Its name.
sediu.potrivire string How well the office matched the nomenclature (e.g. exact).

All errors share the same shape. eroare.cod is stable and is the value you should branch on in code — not the text in mesaj, which may change.
