Weather station detail

A whole station: the WSI identifier, the position, how far back its data goes, how many days and which parameters. The identifier is then used in the daily series and the climate normals.

Path parameters

NameTypeDescriptionExample
wsirequired string WIGOS identifier of the weather station (e.g. 0-20000-0-15208).

Query parameters

This route accepts no query parameters.

How it behaves

  • The code is the WSI (WIGOS Station Identifier), the form ANM uses. Do not invent codes: the full list is at /locations/v1/meteo/statii.

What it is for

  • Checking how far back a station's series goes before requesting a long interval.
  • Finding which unit and county a station falls in, when you got it as a reference in another response.

Response structure

All fields below live inside data.

FieldTypeDescription
statie.wsi string The station's WMO identifier.
statie.nume string The station name. null for stations with no catalogue record.
statie.latitudine number Latitude, in decimal degrees (WGS 84).
statie.longitudine number Longitude, in decimal degrees (WGS 84).
statie.fara_catalog boolean true if the station has a series but no catalogue record (no name, no coordinates, invisible in geographic searches).
statie.localitate object The administrative unit the station falls in ({cod_siruta, nume}); null if it is outside every unit.
statie.localitate.cod_siruta integer SIRUTA code of the territorial unit.
statie.localitate.nume string The name, exactly as the source publishes it.
statie.judet string The county the value refers to.
statie.judet_cod string County code, two letters.
statie.primul_an integer The first year with measurements.
statie.ultimul_an integer The last year with measurements.
statie.zile_cu_date integer How many measured days the station has in total.
statie.parametri array The codes of the parameters published: ta/tn/tx temperatures, r precipitation, ff wind, p sea-level pressure.
sursa object The data source: the National Meteorological Administration, official daily series, CC-BY-4.0 licence. It also carries the date of the last import.
sursa.nume string Name of the official source.
sursa.url string Public address of the source.
sursa.licenta string The licence under which the source allows reuse.

Error codes

CodeSlugWhen it occurs
401neautentificatToken missing, invalid, expired or revoked.
403feature_indisponibilThe current plan does not include the feature the route depends on.
404negasitThere is no station with the given WSI code.
429cota_depasitaThe plan's monthly quota has been exceeded (see Retry-After).

All errors share the same shape. eroare.cod is stable and is the value you should branch on in code — not the text in mesaj, which may change.
